Matte-have mineral makeup to eliminate shiny skin

You recommended before Youngblood and Bare Minerals mineral makeup, both of which I bought and loved. It allows my skin to shine through even as it gives good coverage. The only downside is that my face also has a tendency to become too shiny. Is it just me and my skin type or mineral makeup is really like that?
