MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Malls has lined up a series of events designed to raise awareness on social responsibility. Through its Greenology campaign, Ayala Malls showed its unwavering commitment through eco-friendly efforts and projects that remind everyone to take care of the environment.
This Yuletide season, Ayala Malls continues this advocacy and gives back in more ways than one. For the benefit of Bahay ni Juan sa Caluan of Habitat for Humanity, Ayala Malls recently presented a Christmas concert held at Greenbelt 5 by the sensational Piolo Pascual together with some of our greatest musicians of today.
Dazzling art and fashion were displayed to add to the sophisticated ambience as guests, with cocktails in hand, made their way around the Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk. Guests were also given the chance to own original artworks and sculptures from Jaime Zobel, Arturo Luz, Joe Mendoza, Ovvian Castrillo, Wig Tysmans, and Alex Van Hagen via a silent auction.
One-of-a-kind and valuable pieces donated by merchants for this auction were from Ana Rocha, Amina Aranaz, Arnel Papa, Randy Ortiz for Myth, Firma, AC+632, Tod’s, Kish, Marks & Spencer, Onitsuka Tiger, Max’s Group, and Lucerne, Greenbelt 5 Filipino designers and Chateau Group were exhibited during the affair. Proceeds from the auction will support Bahay ni Juan sa Caluan of Habitat for Humanity, in which these are part of the Ayala Group of Companies’ support of the Kapit Bisig Para Sa Ilog Pasig campaign.
The evening culminated in a spectacular Christmas concert by Piolo Pascual with maestro Ryan Cayabayab as musical director, and Johnny Manahan as stage director. Piolo was joined by Laarni Lozada, the Ateneo Chamber Singers, and Richard Poon.
