During the Philippine Fashion Week, Michelle Varela-Lim’s Luxe Rocks collection took the glamour and luxury of Old Hollywood and translated these into pieces rich with texture and modern sophistication.
Michelle is truly making her mark as a woman’s woman designer. A Donna Karan of luxury dressing with a Vera Wang-like aesthetic — someone with an astute understanding of what women want.
Michelle Varela-Lim’s runway show drew in a mix of personalities. Guests included chef Rosebud Benitez, bossa nova artist Olivia, broadcast journalist Jing Castañeda, TV host/actress Ai-ai delas Alas, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ed Lacson, Consul Fortune Ledesma, Ambassador Adnan Basaga of Turkey, Ambassador Filemon Cuevas, Ambassador Juan Felipe Pitty of Panama and Dalides Eneida Cruz, and Ambassador Salwa Moufid Kamel Magarious of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Luxe Rocks collection is available at Okasyon branches located at Level 1 Padre Faura Wing Robinsons Place; The Shops, Greenhills Shopping Center; Level 2 Festival Mall; Level 3 East Wing Robinsons Galleria; Level 3 Glorietta 5; and soon to open at the Eastwood Mall.
