Inspired by art
MANILA, Philippines - This season, Spanish label Trucco takes us on a romantic trip around the world with its spring/summer collection. Taken from a postcard, a photograph, a painting or simply the experience of reading a travel diary, the inspirations adorning the collections include striking paintings by Kandinsky and Mondrian.
Each collection has a selection of matching accessories ranging from sexy shoes to scarves, chic necklaces and authentic Spanish leather belts and bags.
Satisfying the evolving tastes of a modern woman, Trucco dresses the likes of Lexi Schulze Berenguer-Testa and Mai Kaufman.
“I am still trying to find that perfect balance as a woman with so many responsibilities,” shares Lexi, a scriptwriter for the travel show Asian Air Safari on ANC. With her laidback outlook alongside her elegant boho fashion statement, Lexi now mixes Trucco’s sophisticated apparel with her laidback pieces. For Lexi, Trucco’s style reflects a more dynamic yet structured style well geared towards the professional that she is.
Mai Kaufman is an interior and fashion designer with her own line Goddess. She also runs their vintage furniture shop Karma with her husband. The Cultural Center of the Philippines is a place she frequents “since my husband and I are staunch supporters of their programs, especially with their upcoming 40th anniversary celebration.”
“Dressing up is my personal mode of expression,” she continues. Mai finds Trucco elegant and feminine for the contemporary woman.
Trucco is exclusively distributed by Robinson Specialty Stores, Inc. and is available at level 1 Greenbelt 5, and level 2 at The Powerplant Mall.
