The graduating students of LaSalle College International-Manila (LCI-Manila) proved they have what it takes to make it big in the local fashion scene during the “Creative License” fashion show at Le Pavillon, Macapagal Ave., Pasay City.
Fashion design majors Fatima Beltran, Cheska Cortez, Steffi Go, Finela Gregorio, Monica Madrigal, Jean Carl Manabat, Zandrix Reyes, Jewel Yang, and fashion marketing students Jozen Curva, Sam Kho and Sari Lazaro presented their unique creations in five segments: Golden Heritage, UK2-Redux, Pure Couture, Curves Ahead, and White Lace and Promises.
“Creative License” was directed by avant-garde designer Gerry Katigbak, who is a faculty member of LCI-Manila.
Guests were Ben Farrales and Andrew Smith, commercial counselor and senior trade commissioner of the Canadian Embassy.
LCI-Manila takes pride in transforming its students’ names into fashion labels. Its graduates include young designers Happy Andrada, Choc Religioso, Czarina Villa, Isa Alvarez, Finina Tugade, among others.
