Tiffany & Co., one of the world’s renowned creators of fine jewelry and gifts, introduces its newly renovated boutique on the first floor of Rustan’s Makati. Based on Tiffany’s worldwide design, the new store boasts lush interiors, including South African mahogany furniture in a luxe satin finish and showcase cabinets crafted from Macassar ebony, Formica, and stainless aluminum glass in matte finishes.
The brand’s latest collection, “Charmed by Tiffany,” will be unveiled along with the launching of the new Rustan’s Makati boutique on Nov. 5.
Tiffany & Co. locks in the look — sterling-silver jewelry loaded with charms — in bold letters, numbers, hearts, and famous icons, including the Tiffany Blue Box, Atlas, 1837, and Return to Tiffany. These silvery chic charms click into gear on handbags, key rings, belts, or wear them beautifully on your super-fine Tiffany silver chains. Together these charms and chains reflect the rich heritage of Tiffany craftsmanship.
Founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany, Tiffany & Co. began as small stationery and fancy goods store in 1837 in New York. Tiffany would evolve from a maker of silver hollowware and flatware to jewelry, introducing the world to a design aesthetic inspired by simplicity, harmony and clarity — a departure from the opulence of the Victorian era.
Throughout its history, the brand has adorned some of the world’s most glamorous icons, including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Babe Paley and Diana Vreeland. The 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, based on the Truman Capote novel, further cemented the brand’s place in popular culture. The company’s contribution to American history is immortalized by its commissioned designs for the US Military’s Congressional Medal of Honor, as well as the Great Seal of the United States. Tiffany was also the first American company to employ the 925/1000 standard of silver purity.
Today, Tiffany & Co. is best known as a maker of luxurious gifts meant for life’s most important moments. The company is also credited with one of the world’s most popular engagement ring styles, the Tiffany Setting, a pioneering design that maximizes the brilliance of a diamond by lifting it above the ring band with six platinum prongs.
Popular for its signature “blue box,” Tiffany & Co. has been enjoying two centuries as an established arbiter of taste, elegance and sophistication.
Tiffany & Co. is exclusively distributed by Rustan Commercial Corporation.
