What do celebrities use on their skin? On TV, their shoulders, bare arms, and legs look shimmery but not oily. What is the secret?

It’s no secret at all! What most personalities on TV do is first, slather on some lotion liberally, after which they dust on some glimmer powder lightly. Some opt to mix loose glimmer powder with lotion before applying it on their skin. Personally, I prefer the former. I use a light non-greasy lotion and then I use ArtDeco Glam Couture Powder Brush (available at Rustan’s Essenses). All Eyes On Waterproof, Sweatproof Eyeliners

I love eyeliners and I’ve been looking for one that stays put. I’ve tried a handful of brands, but I haven’t been happy with them. They always smudge, especially in our humid weather. I’m also not very happy with waterproof liquid eyeliners because they create a harsh line. I prefer the softer line a pencil creates. Please recommend a brand that is sweatproof and waterproof.

I don’t have good lips, they’re kind of dry and dark around the outer lines. I don’t know what color of lip makeup to wear and how to I care for my lips. Help!

Everyone wants full, juicy, desirable lips, but some of us are not blessed with naturally beautiful lips. But don’t despair! Learn the tricks of the trade to help your lips become attractive.
Since you have dark lip outlines, I presume you’re morena. A soft glimmer of lip color in the brownish shade will harmonize with your complexion. Aveeno Lip Balm with or without lip color is one of the essentials you should always carry with you. It’s available in sticks and tubes.
Lipsticks come in variety of colors. The color to chose should harmonize not only with the rest of your makeup but also with your attire and skin color. Soft colors such as pink, mauve, and peach are suited for pale skin while vibrant shades of brown and gold are suited for darker skin. To make the color stay longer, the lips must be dry and clean when applying anything. Use colors according to your skin and age. Lipstick containing more benzene may cause darkness of the lips.
