Dear Lucy,
Where can I buy cocoa butter? And is it true that it can remove stretch marks? Thanks!
KC
Cocoa butter is an ingredient often used in rich lotions especially formulated for very dry skin, so as an ingredient it is available in many products at beauty stores. If it is any help, you can check out The Body Shop. I load up on their body butter in Nut it smells delicious! I was also able to get in a Body Shop outlet in Hong Kong, the same body butter this time in coconut (although the last time I checked it was not yet available here). It was wonderful as well. As for whether or not it can remove stretch marks I really wouldnt know. There are no conclusive studies on such claims. I did, however, use it while I was pregnant and I did not get any stretch marks. I dont know for a fact if there is a connection there.
In my opinion though, because cocoa butter is popularly used and is very safe, there is no harm in using it in the hope of removing stretch marks.

Dear Tingting,
How can I help my hair be healthy? I notice hair falling off when I comb my hair. I know this is normal as hair follows a growth cycle and grows back eventually, but are there products to prevent falling hair?
Tina
Brushing hair is healthy for the scalp and blood circulation. When you comb your hair begin down at the ends upward with a big toothed comb so you dont cause hair to break whether your hair is wet or dry. When you shampoo use a cream rinse or conditioner. It makes combing wet hair easier. Cut hair a wee bit if you have split ends and moisten it daily with a hair tonic. I use Suave. You should use a hair grower for falling hair. Try gata or coconut oil and leave it on your scalp for 30 minutes. Kaminomoto and Pantene on the scalp are great hair savers. Massage either on the scalp and shampoo after 30 minutes. You can leave either of them on your head daily until you hate the smell.

Dear Tita Mary,
I have been married before, but I still want a church wedding. Is this possible?
Sophie
If your marriage was annulled, yes you may marry in the church (assuming you are Catholic).
Mary
Dear Lucy,
I read your article last May 5 about keeping in shape after pregnancy. I am expecting myself and I would like to ask where you bought your girdle that you wore around your midsection for two whole months after you gave birth. Did you put any ointment or cream on your belly before putting the girdle on? Were there other things that you did besides engaging in badminton and flamenco dancing to keep fat away?
KC
My mom was the one who bought me the binder. She cannot remember the exact name of the shop but she does remember buying it from a medical supply store at SM Megamall. Perhaps you can ask your doctor friends or inquire at a drugstore? What I had was not the rubber variety which is often used by people who work out in the gym; mine was made of a hard cloth material that did not easily stretch. It felt pretty much like a corset.
I liberally used Body Butter in Nut by The Body Shop on my tummy throughout my pregnancy although I did not use any post-partum. I alternated it also with Squibb Vitamin E cream. I was very careful about my diet when I was pregnant, I avoided junk foods and sweets and other treats that were considered calorie-empty. When I could not do either badminton or flamenco, I relied on an exercise video called Zumba.

Dear Mary,
I heard that there is a new product that I need a spray for the legs to make it look like you have stockings on. Do you know where I can find it here and what the product is?
Gloria
Yes, I have also heard of it, its called Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs but they do not have it here yet.
