The cheaper way to keep the wrinkles away
November 26, 2003 | 12:00am
Dear Mary,
Since my period stopped, my skin seems to be drying. I want to avoid wrinkles, but I cannot afford all those expensive brands of creams that are advertised in magazines. What can you suggest?
Isabel
All those expensive creams that are advertised in magazines are packaged beautifully, which is actually what you are paying for. Basically, what the skin needs is moisture, so Neutrogena, LOreal and other mid-range brands will do the same job. Moisturize day and night and you will soon see improvement.

Hi Lucy!
I have followed you from the day your engagement to Richard was announced. You make such a great couple and I have always admired your sense of style. In fact, I was so happy because a couple of months ago, I was only a foot away from you at Shangri-La mall and if you remember, I even asked you to pose for a photograph with my niece, which you did without a second thought. Thank you for being so nice. Anyway, the reason Im writing is because I remember you were wearing a big watch with light blue leather straps. I have been looking around for the exact same watch, but I have not found any. Then I saw a copy of Me magazine and you were again wearing that watch on the cover. Could you tell me what brand that was? I want exactly what you have. I just graduated from college and my dad said he is willing to give me any watch of my choice. Thanks, Lucy!
Rachel
I know exactly which watch youre talking about. It is one of my favorites and I wear it practically every day blue being my fave color. It is an Omega ladies Speedmaster with diamonds. Like you, I fell in love with it at first sight and I couldnt take it off my mind I dreamt of it night and day until I finally got it. You seem to be bent on getting the powder blue color, but just for your information, it also comes in white. Both are lovely. Enjoy your Omega it is always a good choice.

Dear Tingting,
I like wearing white clothes like you do. Does red nail polish look too severe with white?
Red Lady
Yes, a bit too loud. Again, dont let anyone dictate to you what nail polish you should use. Try wearing red lipstick with your red polish for some coordination.
