Rustan’s launches Salt for men

Rustan’s recently launched a new line of men’s wear dubbed Salt. Salt is a brand which offers an alternative to the usual white cotton shirt.

"Salt is a diverse mixture of cultures, personalities and moods. It is a rebirth of the past," says Salt designer Stef Sarmiento who has carefully put together a collection that has been well received by Rustan’s shoppers.

Salt goes back to natural things and cures it for a unique zest. Thus denim is distinctly bleached, broken, dipped and dyed while prints, some in floral pastels, are made to be faded. Stripes become playful accents that remind one of horizons and forests. It draws inspiration from the earth with muted colors culled from the rich detail of the environment.
