MANILA, Philippines — Consistent with their unswerving dedication to promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, Cocoon Boutique Hotel and Hive Hotel and Convention Place celebrated Earth Hour 2019 on March 30 with a resounding call to “Reduce, Reuse, and Change the Way we Live.”

After the talks heightened the desire to #Connect2Earth, the countdown went off and lights went out from the sixth floor of Cocoon. In those 60 minutes of darkness, guests and advocates alike were treated to rousing performances from Leomar Requejo and Ukulele Rock Band Esremborak, who amplified the importance of caring about the planet. An impressive banquet had also been prepared for the guests and participants at the Grand Ballroom, making the event even more worthwhile with food that was not only sumptuous but also sustainable. The menu for the evening was entirely guilt-free.
