Jewelmer recognized with Sustainability Initiative award

MANILA, Philippines — Jewelmer is the recipient of the Sustainability Initiative of the Year award at the 2018 Jewellery News Asia Awards held at InterContinental Hong Kong last Sept. 17. One of the most prestigious award programs in the international jewelry and gemstone sector, the seventh annual JNA Awards acknowledged industry forerunners at the September Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair.

Since its establishment in 1979, Jewelmer has pioneered a pearl farming process with Mother Nature’s welfare at the center of its operations. Its farms in Palawan employ eco-conscious processes such as utilizing solar energy and implementing waste segregation.

Jewelmer is an international luxury brand that was born out of a commitment to the world’s most lustrous cultured South Sea pearls and exquisite fine jewelry. Established in 1979 by Jacques Branellec and Manuel Cojuangco, it has grown globally to represent a world of rarity and enduring elegance.
