MANILA, Philippines — On October 11th, the Embassy of Spain celebrated its National Day with a reception at the Ambassador’s official residence. The chargé d’ affaires ad interim, Amaya Fuentes-Milani, received more than 450 guests that attended the event and gave a speech in the presence of Ambassador designate Jorge Moragas Sánchez. Undersecretary Ernesto Abella of the Department of Foreign Affairs gave the reply. Guests enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere with a variety of Spanish wines and Spanish-inspired tapas, as well as live latin jazz music.
