MANILA, Philippines — London Sy Go celebrated her first birthday at the Samsung Hall at SM Aura last Aug. 19 after her baptism at the Holy Trinity Church. The party was a spectacular display of creativity from parents Vernon and Happee Go, taking guests on an imaginary trip halfway around the world beginning in Great Britain then to China and finally progressing to Polynesia.

The visual display of 3D installations, lights and sound was transformative and guests were shocked by the almost Disneyworld-type experience as young and old floated wide-eyed through the venue. To top things off, international a cappella sensations VoicePlay and Broadway superstar Rachel Potter surprised guests with an incredible performance that culminated in the group’s stunning Moana Medley that has garnered almost 20 million views on YouTube.

The food was presented by the inimitable Chef Jessie Sincioco and the wines and spirits were provided by the gregarious and one-and-only Ralph Joseph. The propitious event of perhaps one of the most adorable little girls in the world was graced by the country’s business giants including SM’s Tessie Sy Coson and Hans Sy.
