MANILA, Philippines - As president of SSI Group Inc., Anton Huang is at the forefront of bringing the best of Italian fashion brands to the Philippines.
Since it’s a mission he has been involved in with exemplary success for over a decade, it was apt that the Italian Government should bestow on him the honor of “Cavaliere” of the order to the Merit of the Italian Republic.
The awards ceremony took place at the residence of Italian Ambassador Giorgio Guglielmino who inducted Huang into the distinguished order in the presence of family and friends led by his beloved grandfather Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr.
In accepting the honor, Huang delighted the gathering by making his thank you remarks in fluent Italian.
