Intercon’s Christian Piridon whips up tableside gourmet signatures

MANILA, Philippines - IHG Philippines-Area GM Christian Pirodon, former chef and restaurant owner in his native Lyon, France, took a breather from his corporate routine to give in to his culinary passion. Hosting an intimate lunch event last August 12, 2015 at Club InterContinental, InterContinental Manila, he shared some of his gourmet creations with his guests.

The a la carte menu includes Pirodon’s signature Apperitif of Kir Royale, Soupe aux Escargots (Snail Demi Tasse), Gambas Absolut (Flames Prawns with Vodka), Salade Lyonnaise (Lyon Style Salad), Steak Hirondelle (Panfried Beef Mignon with Mushroom Cream Sauce), Fraises Kilimanjaro (Flamed Strawberries) and Ananas Volcan (Flamed Baby Pineapple Volcano).
