Korea National Day

MANILA, Philippines - The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines celebrated the Korean National Day and Armed Forces Day at the Korean Ambassador’s residence last October 14. More than 700 guests from the Philippine government, military, media, academe and other members of the Diplomatic Corps attended the event. The Manila-Korea Women’s choir led the singing of both the Philippine and Korean National anthems and Korean Ambassador Lee Hyuk spoke of the similarities of the Korean and Filipino people and celebrated the deep and meaningful friendship between the two nations.
