The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Museum of Manila, in partnership with the Embassy of France in Manila and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, held a reception for the Brave New Worlds Exhibit, My Utopia in your Dystopia (BNW) last May 24, 2014 at the museum’s Tall Galleries. The Brave New Worlds exhibit is curated by Filipino artist Manuel Ocampo who featured artwork by local and foreign artists to feature and rediscover an urbanized and unbounded form of contemporary art mixed with international perspectives.

The event was attended by a diversity of guests coming from Embassies, Cultural Institutions and Artist’s groups. Also present that night was the guest of honor French Ambassador Gilles Garachon. The French Ambassador was joined by visiting BNW French artist, Fabrice Hyber who presented four of his artworks at the reception as his contribution to the exhibition. Photos by JOEY VIDUYA
