Philippine Tatler’s New Look & 1st Fashion Awards

MANILA, Philippines - At Sage, Shangri-La Makati’s newly opened tapas and restaurant bar became a red-carpet venue last March 6, 2014 for the unveiling of Philippine Tatler’s new look. Society’s influencers, fashionistas, as well as the magazine’s partners, advertisers, and friends were excited to be the first to get a glimpse of the magazine’s new look.

With the debut of the new look the Philippine Tatler also launched its 1st Fashion Awards, envisioned to be an annual event dedicated to individuals who have made an indelible mark in the fashion community. Recipients of the 1st Philippine Tatler Fashion Awards were Betina Ocampo for Most Promising Young Designer, Jean Goulbourn for Designer of the Year-Filipiniana, Bea Valdes for Designer of the Year-Accessories, STAR’s lifestyle editor Millet Mananquil and PDI’s lifestyle editor Thelma San Juan for Visionary Award, Pitoy Moreno for Hall of Fame, and Inno Sotto for Designer of the Year. Each of the fashion awardees were presented with a trophy of a bronzed “T.”
