BAZOOKA rocks shows the world it’s more fun in the Philippines
Despite the torrential downpour that reigned over Manila for days, the rock demigods smiled upon eager Filipino fans as the weather subsided, paving the way for yet another successful endeavor from PULP. Thousand flocked to take part in BAZOOKA ROCKS 2, the first and only indoor rock festival last August 25, 2013, at the SMX Convention Center.
Innumerable Bazooka rockers from the different parts of the country and beyond brave the inclement weather to witness another event that made rock history. MAD HATTER DAY, FAINTLIGHT, PENGUIN, and SAVE ME HOLLYWOOD, four of the most promising local acts in the scene today, took over the stage and kicked it overdrive. RADIODIVERY brought their brand of Technicolor pop for the first time in the Philippine shores and Japanese Visual Kei band UCHUSENTAI: NOIZ delivered their super sonic techno music, making the crowd, wild and converted skeptics with their crazy antics, off the wall costumes and energetic brand of music. The Pop-punk mavericks from Down Under TONIGHT ALIVE and melodic metalcore band WE CAME AS ROMANS delivered for the second time in Philippines shores. One lucky fan was given the opportunity of lifetime as he sang onstage with THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS. Florida alternative rock band ANBERLIN performed a combination of their time-tested rock hits and songs from their latest album Vital. The crowd went bonkers as ALL TIME LOW, the festival’s headliner and the most anticipated performance of the night took the stage and unleashed their energetic music to a sea of people. The stage was literally flooded with bras by the time their set ended.
Fans cried and sang along with a ROCKET TO THE MOON as they serenaded Manila for one last time, complete with breathtaking pyrotechnics.
BAZOOKA ROCKS 2 is yet another proof that PULP LIVE WORLD continues to bring you the best concert experience at the most affordable prices.
