First Purposely Constructed Holiday Inn & Suites in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - At the “intensity” launch of Holiday Inn & Suites Makati, a series of mini events highlighted Holiday Inn’s global reputation of service, comfort and value under one roof.

“We focused on what truly makes a hotel stay convenient, relaxed, and welcoming,” said Christian Pirodon, Holiday Inn & Suites Makati general manager and area general manager of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Philippine cluster.

The 20-story hotel is located at the heart of Ayala Center and has direct access to Glorietta Mall.

Holiday Inn & Suites Makati is part of Ayala Land Inc.’s effort to bolster the country’s growing travel and tourism industry by increasing its hotel rooms to almost 2,000 this year and to 4,000 by 2015. Ayala Land has 1,426 hotel rooms at present.
