Vicky Zubiri’s Solo Watercolor Exhibit @ The Pen

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Last October 16, Vicky Zubiri opened her second charitable art show with a bang selling out the exhibit on the very first day. The elegant affair was well-attended by diplomats, artists, media, businessmen, politicians, society mavens including a fun young crowd interested in making first-time art purchases. Sponsored by the Peninsula Manila, Ralph’s and Chandon Brut, guests were spoiled with some really delicious nibbles and full bar to last the entire night!

The artwork was an eclectic mix of subjects in Western and Chinese watercolor showcasing her range of talent. The show was sold out in the first day and raised a considerable amount for Rayomar Outreach Foundation Inc., which helps underprivileged children and youth achieve their goals through various education, livelihood and feeding programs. “Anything to do with children and education is close to my heart,” Vicky explains her choice of beneficiary. Rayomar is a foundation that is heavily supported by her daughter-in-law Ana Garcia Zubiri’s family which made the cause all the more special.
