Chilean Ambassador's Reception in honor of Cebu Governor

MANILA, Philippines - Last Saturday, the 25th of June, Chilean Ambassador Roberto Mayorga hosted a reception at his residence in honor of Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia. The reception was attended by distinguish member of the Diplomatic Corps and renowned personalities from the Government as well as the business sector. In his speech he expresses to Governor Garcia and her distinguish companions, Elizabeth Quisumbing, Gina Garcia Atienza, publisher of Sunstar Daily News and Ronald Conopio, that our main inspiration on this celebration, is to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Cebu and the Latin-American countries.

We know that Governor Garcia has a deep vision of Cebu, the Philippines and its future and understands that it is possible to build from her important province and port, a network of bridges in order to join together our nations not only with Cebu but also with the rest of the Philippines.
