MANILA, Philippines - Britain was recently in the global spotlight when millions of people all over the world witnessed the wedding ceremony of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
To commemorate the joyful occasion, British Ambassador Stephen Lillie and his wife Denise hosted a double celebration of the Royal Wedding along with the Queen’s Birthday Party at his Makati residence. The guests were treated to a live screening of the nuptials viewed from strategically placed big screens courtesy of Jaguar’s Wellington Soong. The three Jaguar cars that were on display at the far end of the garden – the XJ, the XFR and the XKR - served as the perfect foil to the luxurious yet understated elegance of the regal ceremony.
