Neri Miranda shows how businesses can aid workers affected by Luzon quarantine
MANILA, Philippines — Former actress Neri Miranda announced that she has closed her businesses in Alfonso, Cavite due to the Luzon quarantine imposed to halt the spread of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In her Instagram account, Neri posted a photo of her staff packing their own food allowances for the quarantine period now that the entire Luzon is under enhanced community quarantine.
She urged her fellow entrepreneurs to help their workers during these difficult times.
Makakabawi at makakabangon tayo. At wag kalimutang magbahagi ng kung ano ang kaya,” she said.
“Let us all spread kindness. Please be safe everyone! Mamirmi muna sa bahay. Magbasa ng libro. Manood ng Netflix. Bonding time with your family. Let us appreciate na nasa bahay tayo at healthy,” she added.
