Chow Tai Fook launches first store in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited, redefines the classic Filipino celebrations with a big salute to memories. With 90 years of experience and history, the leading jeweler recently launched its Manila store at The Shoppes, Solaire Resort & Casino, Parañaque City.

The grand opening was officiated by Charles Sy, director of The Kho Group Director, who imparted his vision in combining the Filipino’s passion for artistry and Chow Tai Fook’s renowned craftsmanship into the local fashion and lifestyle scene.

“Chow Tai Fook is a brand that values creativity, authenticity and originality, something that I believe fits Filipino principles. When combined, we can only expect extraordinary things.”

This was shortly followed by Peter Suen Chi-Keung, executive director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited, who flew from Hong Kong to support the grand opening, in celebration of another triumph for the esteemed brand. Chi-Keung is responsible for the Group's Hong Kong, Macau, and other businesses overseas.

A sand-pouring ceremony was led by Chow Tai Fook Hong Kong executives: Peter Suen, executive director; Po Liu, director of Overseas Business Development, and Kenneth Lao, senior vice president.

They were joined by distinguished guests: Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso, Mayor of the City of Manila; Maria Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan, Vice Mayor of the City of Manila; Kitson Kho, chairman of The Kho Group; Charles Sy, director of The Kho Group; Thomas Arasi, president and chief operating officer of Bloomberry Resorts Corporation; and Donato Almeda, vice chairman for Construction and Regulatory Affairs of Bloomberry Resorts Corporation.

Highlighting the ceremony were Chow Tai Fook’s set pieces worn by models who ramped their way around the 200-square meter store:

The brand’s most sought-after pieces were then displayed against the warm light palette of the store, accentuated by the iconic red logo of Chow Tai Fook.

Charz Kelso, spokesperson of The Kho Group, concluded the day’s festivities on a good note, expressing his gratitude to all the guests who supported the momentous event.
