PILIPINAS: NOW IS OUR TIME - Joey Concepcion - The Philippine Star

Last Dec. 2, Go Negosyo, in partnership with PLDT SME Nation, Smart Communications, Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corporation and RFM Corporation, organized the third installment of the “Meet the Presidentiables Series” featuring presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe.

Attended by over 500 entrepreneurs, advocacy partners, and youth delegates, the series aims to give the Go Negosyo entrepreneur community and key enablers a chance to meet the presidential candidate who will share their vision and platform for the country, particularly on economic and entrepreneurship development and other relevant topics such as agriculture, transportation, politics, poverty, etc.
In her opening speech, she shared stories about her father who is also an entrepreneur himself. She also spoke on the importance of entrepreneurship as a solution to the No. 1 problem in the country: poverty. She also commended Sen. Bam Aquino for the Go Negosyo Act, which has established more than 100 Negosyo Centers all over the country.
