MANILA, Philippines - At The Finix Corporation, one of the pioneers in providing the latest top-of-the-line exercise machines to a wide spectrum of the local market for the last 20 years, after-sales service is expected to always surpass a client’s requirement.

To sustain this commitment, Finix  recently played host to an intensive and hands-on service training program provided by Precor fitness equipment for its Filipino technical team as well as those from distributors in Asia- Pacific. 

“We at Finix boast a highly trained service team that will help clients in installing the machines and providing excellent after-sales customer support, a value-added service that comes in the form of regular client visits to ensure that the equipment are running and working as they should,” said Juanchit Jose, The Finix Corporation’s general manager. “This is the reason why we invited Precor technical managers from abroad to hold their service training here in the Philippines.”

Tomokazu Ihara, Precor’s technical manager for Asia-Pacific based in Japan, and Tamara Tallerday, senior technical trainer at the Precor Headquarters in Washington, USA, conducted the series on service training.

Ihara provides solutions to a client’s after-sales requirements, does demos for newly launched equipment, coordinates service training and personally supports trade shows that need his technical expertise. Tallerday, on the other hand, is the training head for Precor service providers across the globe.

The staff service training programs are held twice a year in various countries within the Asia-Pacific region including Shanghai, Australia, India, Singapore, Thailand and Eastern Asia. Training modules cover troubleshooting, innovation updates, and other aspects of service solutions that will guarantee repeat clients.

During the seminar, sales service teams were introduced to new and upgraded equipment and were taught to assemble the new products, troubleshoot and trained to fix the units featured at the Finix showroom in Pasig City. This included the Precor treadmills, the Precor Elliptical Cross Trainer, the Adaptive Motion Trainer and the P80 Console.   The Precor Philippine team was also provided first-hand familiarization with the installation of the upgraded and latest versions of several units of Precor machines Finix is set  to install  in the six-star, first-class hotel, the City of Dreams later this year.
