MANILA, Philippines - Research-based global pharmaceutical firm Pfizer Inc. marks its 60th anniversary in the Philippines this year with a corporate social responsibility initiative supporting the Rebuild program of Habitat for Humanity. Through its non-profit arm Pfizer Philippines Foundation Inc. (PPFI), the company will fund the construction of 60 homes for displaced families from typhoon Yolanda at an estimated cost of P12 million, and will build them together with the beneficiary families through its employee volunteerism program.
