McDonald’s George Yang awards outgoing Consul Steven Chapman

MANILA, Philippines - McDonald’s Philippines chairman and owner George T. Yang (left), honorary consul general of the state of Eritrea and newly elected as dean for 2014 of the Consular Corps of the Philippines (CCP), recently presented an award of merit to outgoing dean Steven Chapman, consul general of the Embassy of Canada, during the 38th Annual Consular Ball at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. The recent Annual Consular Ball event was able to raise a total of P1 million for the victims of typhoon Yolanda. Consul general George T. Yang served as the 2013 vice dean of the corps before being elected as this year’s dean of the CCP.
