Citibank signs up more rewards partners

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Citibank Rewards Card is giving customers more reasons to enjoy shopping and the movies as it continues to grow its list of partner merchants.

Cardholders can now earn five percent rebate when they shop for comfortable and stylish footwear at Crocs, and whenever they buy school supplies, books and everything else they need at National Book Store and Powerbooks.

They also get three percent rebate every time they go shopping at any Robinsons Department Store nationwide.

The newest product in Citibank’s successful credit card portfolio rewards its cardmembers with rebates whenever they shop. Apart from the above-mentioned stores, get five percent rebate at Aldo, Aldo Accessories, Celio, Charles & Keith, Giordano, Marks & Spencer, Nike Park, Pedro, Runnr, Toby’s, Topshop, Topman, Urban Athletics and Zara.

You also enjoy a three percent rebate at other department stores such as The Landmark Department Store, Metro Department Store, Rustan’s Department Store and SM Department Store.

The rebates never expire and can be redeemed in denominations of P100 after one working day from the time of purchase. Use these to pay for purchases at participating shops and department stores.

Plus, when you apply for a Citibank Rewards Card in Citibank Online until Oct. 31, as your very first Citibank Credit Card you will get P1,500 worth of shopping rebates. As your welcome gift, you can use these rebates to shop at partner establishments and enjoy the rewarding features of your new card.

To avail of this offer, charge at least P2,000 worth of purchases within 60 days from the time your card is delivered. Free shopping rebates worth P1,500 will be automatically credited to your new Citibank Rewards Card.

Moreover, the Citibank Rewards Card is the only credit card that offers a free P100 movie pass for a minimum single-receipt purchase of P2,500 anywhere. This means online and international purchases are also included. Earn one movie pass per store per day.

As the free movie pass is a regular card feature and not a promotion, these are automatically credited to the card three working days from the time of purchase. There’s no need to collect charge slips. Redeem up to two movie passes per day at any participating cinema by simply presenting the Citibank Rewards Card.

The card has now added Gateway Cineplex and Ali Mall Cineplex in Araneta Center to its list of cinemas where cardholders can avail their free P100 movie pass. The P100 movie passes are honored at Cash & Carry Cinema, Eastwood Cinemas, Festival Cinema, Greenhills Promenade, Greenhills Theatre Mall, Robinsons Movieworld, SM Cinema and Walter Mart Cinemas.

“We have been successful in addressing the needs of customers for instant gratification so we continue to expand our roster of partners to give them a more rewarding experience,” said Bea Tan, Credit Payment Products head at Citibank.

As the ultimate rewards card, Citibank also offers to waive the P2,000 annual fee if a cardmember spends at least P20,000 a month or P240,000 per membership year. In addition, the first three supplementary cards are free if each will have a minimum of six retail transactions every membership year.
