CFM and ECMI partner for families of overseas Filipinos
Manila, Philippines - The Christian Family Movement of the Philippines (CFM) has chosen caring for the families of overseas Filipinos as one of its national flagship programs. The pioneer family organization will be working closely with the Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerants (ECMI) of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippine (CBCP). This was announced recently by national president Mario and Inday Nery. A three-day seminar scheduled for July 14, 21 and 28 will be conducted by Fr. Edwin Corros, ECMI executive director for CFM volunteers, supporters and friends at the CFM Nazareth Home, N. Domingo St. corner Big Horseshoe Drive, Horseshoe Village, Quezon City. The theme for each day will be the Philosophy of the Catholic Church Regarding Migration, the Interventions of the Church and Counselling Skills.
