MANILA, Philippines - Strategic Works, Inc. (Stratworks) took home four awards at the recently concluded 46th Anvil Awards. An independent local marketing communications agency, Stratworks received three Anvil Awards of Excellence and one Award of Merit for successful initiatives with some of the country’s biggest brands.
Together with country’s leading low-cost carrier, the agency won an Award of Excellence in the Special PR Projects category for the Cebu Pacific Wandering Juan Media Backpackers Challenge. By engaging the media in a cross-country contest on who could have the most number of fun experiences at the least expense, the challenge helped promote local tourism and a budget-travel mindset among Filipinos.
Stratworks won another Anvil Award of Excellence in the Public Relations Program category for its work with Jollibee in bringing the joy of Christmas to children most affected by the twin disasters of Ondoy and Pepeng. The 15th Jollibee Maaga ang Pasko showcased the Filipinos’ generous spirit as it mobilized almost 15,000 Jolly Toy Scouts, generated record-high toy and book donations, spread Christmas cheer with the Christmas Caravan and even rehabilitated affected school structures in Metro Manila.
A campaign with Greenwich also won an Award of Excellence in the same category. The Greenwich Level Up Campaign was lauded for inspiring its young target market towards continuous self-improvement by hyping up the brand’s many efforts to innovate.
Stratworks also received an Award of Merit for its work with the Singapore Tourism Board-Philippines for the “Your Singapore Transformed” campaign that successfully promoted the country’s many facets through media relations and online initiatives.
It was the second time the agency was the most awarded at the Gabi ng Parangal. Everest Expedition campaign.
