MANILA, Philippines - This Christmas, Starbucks Coffee celebrates its status as every customer’s “third place” with the return of its Limited Edition Philippines 2011 planner.
Next to consumers’ homes and workplace, Starbucks has undoubtedly become the place to be as each store provides a unique environment conducive to activities like reading, studying, catching up with friends or simply relaxing while enjoying their favorite coffee concoctions.
In the planner a Starbucks store is featured each month for its uniqueness and relevance to its community. The 14-month planner, which extends from December 2010 to January 2012, highlights 14 Starbucks stores, giving customers even more of a feel of Starbucks as their third place. The 2011 planner is the eighth in the Philippine series. It will be available in three cover variants, with each cover representing elements found in Starbucks stores: maroon velvet fabric; cool, clean stainless steel; and stained dark-wood panels.
Starbucks customers can get the Starbucks Christmas Traditions planner promo card in stores. One sticker will be given for each Starbucks beverage purchased. Only 17 stickers earn the coolest Starbucks planner ever. Customers need to accumulate nine stickers from a Christmas beverage — returning favorites include Peppermint Mocha, Praline Mocha and Toffee Nut Latte — plus eight stickers for core handcrafted beverages. Purchase of the Starbucks Via Ready Brew three-pack booklet can also earn customers one sticker while the Via Ready Brew box of 12 will earn customers three stickers.
Not only do Starbucks customers get to own a Limited Edition Starbucks 2011 Planner, every redemption comes with a donation to SparkHope, Starbucks’ flagship program for early childhood care and development in partnership with UNICEF.
