Revelry and golf at Peninsula de Punta Fuego
MANILA, Philippines - Landco’s premier seaside development in Nasugbu, Peninsula de Punta Fuego, was recently filled with residents and weekend revelers as it threw back-to-back events.
The Club, Punta Fuego’s hotel arm, recently held its first-ever GM’s (General Manager) cocktail for the year on April 9 at the members lounge with an underwater theme. Tall cocktail tables with live goldfish in bowls served as centerpieces as Landco bigwigs led by Alby Xeres-Burgos welcomed clients and members.
A usual event among hoteliers wherein the hotel’s GM meets and greets regular clients and patrons alike, Club Punta Fuego’s GM Mikel Villarverde hobnobbed with guests as a sumptuous seafood buffet was prepared by chef Mikel Arriet and free-flowing wine was served all night.
Rina Sarmiento Anti-aging gift certificates and Popits slippers were raffled off as gifts. Members and their families enjoyed themselves and had a great night, with a band playing all night long, and they drank and danced under the stars with the relaxing breeze from the South China Sea.
Guests stayed awake and partied till 3 a.m. The next day, Club Punta Fuego’s 4th Annual Fuego Tee was held under spectacularly crisp, clear blue skies, and despite strong wind conditions, it was an excellent golf game. Players were up at 7 a.m. to slug it out in Peninsula de Punta Fuego’s 18-hole golf course. After an invigorating game of golf, they proceeded to the Golfers’ Lounge to get acquainted over lunch. The day produced some remarkable scores as well as an opportunity for members to network and build relationships. Participants went home with prizes from the raffle draw and the tournament winners were awarded with category trophies and gifts from sponsors, namely, Popits, Rina Sarmiento Anti-aging Clinic, Pearl Farm Beach Resort, 7Stones Boracay Suites, Philippine Airlines, Pevonia , RizGolf and Starcia.
