Sun Cellular and Greenhills Shopping Center hold Freedom Run
MANILA, Philippines - Running and fitness enthusiasts, young and old alike, are invited to join Sun Cellular and Greenhills Shopping Center’s (GSC) “Freedom Run” on June 13 in commemoration of the Philippines’ 112th Independence Day. Registration is ongoing until June 10 (Without Singlets).
Inspired by the success of last year’s “Smash and Run,” the run-for-a-cause will be held around Greenhills Shopping Center for the benefit of the St. John the Baptist Educational and Scholarship Foundation. It is in line with Sun Cellular’s continuing effort to help needy members of our society through its advocacy in education. The activity is also one way of championing and promoting a healthy, fit and active lifestyle. It is also geared towards an exciting bonding moment for families and friends, Sun subscribers and GSC shoppers, who can enjoy a morning of fun and camaraderie.
Registration fees are P450 for the 3K run, P500 for 5K, P550 for 10K and P600 for 21K. All categories are open to interested participants who are encouraged to register now. Registered runners will also get the chance to take home free goodies such as Granny Goose Tortillos, Granny Goose Kornets, Nissin Cup Noodles, Coffee Twist, Sense and Style magazines, and Summit Media magazines (such as Men’s Health, Women’s Health, OK and Top Gear). All it requires is the activation of their SIM cards and loading of at least P10 XpressLoad from the Sun Cellular registration booths located at Toby’s SM Mall of Asia and VMall. Participants may also download registration forms from www.greenhills.com.ph and pay at the venues listed above. Late registrants from May 30 to June 10 will pay P200 less in all categories.
Runners can expect cool prizes such as Sun Broadband Wireless Prepaid Kits, free Sun Cellular loads, gift certificates and a lot more.
On June 13, gun start is at 5:50 a.m. (3K), 5:40 a.m. (5K), 5:30 a.m. (10K) and 5 a.m. (21K).
The “Freedom Run” is being held in cooperation with Toby’s Sports, Fitness First, Front Runner magazine, RX 93.1 and URC-Nova.
