MANILA, Philippines - The Kia convenience is right in your neighborhood and in Muntinlupa; it is at the sprawling Westgate Center of the Filinvest Corporate City (Filicity) in Alabang.
Columbian Autocar Corp. (CAC), authorized distributor of Kia in the Philippines, has opened the Kia dealership in Alabang — complete with sales, spare parts, and service — to bring Kia closer to its customer base south of Metro Manila. This is part of CAC’s aggressive marketing strategy to open more Kia dealerships and outlets in the country’s major urban centers.
“Kia needs to be brought closer to our customers,” says Felix J.Mabilog Jr., CAC president and chief operating officer (COO). “We want them to enjoy the kind of service, both before and after-sales, that has distinguished Kia dealership around the world and we want them to experience this now,” he adds.
The trajectory is aimed at tapping the huge market potential in the country’s premiere city in the southern part of Manila. Mabilog believes that customers are ready for Kia and that the only problem preventing them from making that decision is that too often, Kia is far from where people live, work, play or shop.
“The Kia dealership in Westgate is the answer. We bring the Kia convenience right in your neighborhood,” Mabilog says.
The boutique-type dealership in Alabang has up to three Kia car models on display. Customers can inspect the vehicles themselves or browse at the other car catalogues available at the showroom.
“Customers are confident of a car brand that also promises prompt after-sales service,” says Jun Mallari, Kia Alabang after-sales director. “We have adequate supply of Kia genuine parts and are equipped to handle any mechanical trouble should customers come to us. We also do preventive maintenance work and fulfill warranty requirements.”
Kia Westgate is at Westgate Center’s Auto Zone, a one-stop-shop leisure complex.
