Young Entrepreneurs Congress at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall
The entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity of the Filipino youth takes center stage as the SM Megatrade Hall holds the Young Entrepreneurs Congress at the SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls 2 and 3 from June 23-26.
The four-part Congress, which features the country’s most sought after executives and resource persons, aims to develop the culture of entrepreneurship among the youth and equip them with the knowledge and tools in making business succeed.
Day one starts with leadership-oriented sessions titled “Turning Puca Shells into Gold” by Hernando Vitas, “Entrepreneurial Leadership How to retire young and rich” by Joey Magtibay, Director, Corp. Communication, and “Creative Leadership for Young Filipinos” by Pocholo Gonzales, President, Creativoices.
On the second day, there will be marketing-oriented lectures titled “Proactive Selling Skills” by Porter and Miles managing director Rene Espinosa, “Techniques for Empowering Your Brand” by Dr. Dominador Gamboa, Jr. DEAN – College of Business, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and “Basic Marketing Strategy for SMEs” by Felta Multimedia president Mylene Abiva-Sazon.
Day three tackles the new media for marketing which will focus on harnessing the power of the internet in business. Topics include powerful online marketing improves you in the center of action by Yehey E-Commerce Solution Specialist by Ms. Katrina Inocencio using online marketing strategies by Mobile Marketing by Titan Brigandine managing director Jed Marcaida, using Google as a business tool by Google country representative Aileen Apollo, and maximizing Globe broadband for marketing operations by Globe Telecoms.

The four-day event is part of the 6th Fil-Negosyo Expo which runs from June 20-29.
With the theme “Convergence for Global Competitiveness: Sulong Negosyanteng Global Pinoy,” the event will gather small and medium enterprises (SMEs) engaged in franchising, dealership, direct Selling, transportation, logistics, food and beverage, health and beauty, technology, service business, and training.
The ten-day expo will offer free daily business seminars from the business experts representing the country’s top companies to help create employment and reduce poverty.
Other highlights include the Fil-Negosyo Conference in partnership with training firms, networking and sharing of best business practices among exhibitors, and individual mentoring to select exhibitors.
