Upon graduating from UP with a degree in public administration, Mike, 29, did not feel qualified to run a business so he worked with the Department of Foreign Affairs. Then he worked for five years in a corporation that sold kitchen equipment where he was in charge of supplying big refrigerators and frying machines to Jollibee.
Soon enough, the itch to be an entrepreneur led him to explore the possibilities of developing a car battery business. One e-mail led to another and Protec, the California group that owned the technology of Battery Doctors, decided to launch their product with Mike. Together with his nine employees, 55" Mike continues to look for environment-friendly products.
