Solenn Heussaff to hold first solo art exhibit
MANILA, Philippines - The multi-faceted artist Solenn Heussaff has another accomplishment to add on her list.
The Filipina-French actress, model and singer will premiere her first solo art exhibit titled “Our People” at the Pineapple Lab in Makati City from April 8 to May 8.
The exhibition, inspired by Solenn and her family's travels around the world such as Myanmar, Africa and France, among others, will be available for viewing on Tuesdays to Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m.
In addition to her 25 vibrant and intimate works portraying the unique lives of her subjects, there will also be a preview of her future design projects - a chair collection in collaboration with Philux, leather embroidered cow hides in collaboration with Our Tribe, and a sneak peek of her upcoming fashion line with Mia Arcenas.
Solenn started formal painting lessons at 18 and she has continued to hone her craft since then.
"Painting relaxes my mind and helps me express my emotions without saying a word and without the world's judgments," shares Solenn.
Aside from taking up painting lessons, she also studied makeup artistry, fashion design, body painting and prosthetics in Paris.
