Environmental activists paint Maine Mendoza mural in Italy
MANILA, Philippines — Maine Mendoza is not just making waves in show business, but she's also serving as an inspiration to thos in the fields of art and environment as well.
As part of the climate change journey of Filipino environmental activist, Naderev "Yeb" Saño, the environmental advocates, led by Yeb's brother AG Saño, recently painted a Mother Nature mural in Italy modeled after the "kalye-serye" star.
The mural comes with the message "Una Terra, Una Famiglia Umana" or "One Earth, One Human Family."
Naderev "Yeb" Saño posted the photos of the mural on Facebook, October 27, with a caption, "Filipino ?#?EnvironMaineTalists? paint Maine Mendoza as Mother Earth in street art in Italy ?#?AlDubForThePlanet? ?#?AlDubKeyToForever?"

The renowned activist started traveling late April to climate change hotspots around the world to put pressure on the delegates of the United Nations summit in December.
Saño resigned earlier this week as the Philippine government's envoy to the climate talks to concentrate on his journey.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21), which will be held this December will witness countries all over the world gather in Paris to conclude a landmark agreement to curb global warming. — Alixandra Caole Vila
