Legarda organizes lecture on heritage mapping

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -  “My gift for you this Christmas is a gift for the soul,” says Senator Loren Legarda as she opened the lecture of associate professor Eric Babar Zerrudo (third from left) on heritage mapping titled “Heritage, Makakain Ba ‘Yan?” recently held at the National Museum. The lecture — which Legarda organized for members of the Senate media, her staff and friends — highlights the importance of heritage and how it can actually lead to meaningful progress. Among the attendees were National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose (second from left) and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) chairperson Felipe De Leon Jr.
