CMC founder Dr. Thely launches coffeetable book

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Dr. Thelma Navarrete-Clemente, founder of Capitol Medical Center, launched her book Thely & Her Legacy: The CMC, on Oct. 18, a few days before her 93rd birthday.

Her lifelong scholarship, devotion to medical service, civic leadership and philanthropy are celebrated in the coffeetable book principally written by Tess Dumana, edited by Alfred A. Yuson and designed by Orland Punzalan.

Among the distinguished guests who attended the advance celebration of her birthday at the CMC was former Finance secretary, DBP chair and NEDA director-general Jesus P. Estanislao, with whom Dr. Navarrete-Clemente had served in the Development Bank of the Philippines Board.
