Global Art Phl hosts Annual International Competition

MANILA, Philippines - Global Arts Philippines will host the Annual International Competition at the SM Aura Convention Hall on November 15.
A total of 300 students from the Philippine franchise will compete with 200 students from Global Art campuses in Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The competition, bearing the theme "Heal The World", will be divided into four categories according to age groups.
Category A for children four to six years of age will color and add objects on a given drawing template for 90 minutes while category B for seven to nine years old will add ideas and imagination on the template for 90 minutes.
Category C for 10 to 12 years old and category D for 13 to 17 years old will be asked to draw based on the given theme on a blank competition paper for two and a half hours.
The winners will judged based on the following criteria: 40 percent creativity, 20 percent drawing skills, 20 percent coloring techniques and 10 percent overall presentation. Global Art founder Mahair Goh, Global Art Master Trainer Ajin Thong and Global Art Assistant Trainer Gean Fong will judge the competition wherein winners will receive a trophy and cash prizes.
Global Art was founded in Malaysia to teach children to create their own artwork, design and interpretation. The school has campuses in Malaysia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam, China, United States, Cambodia, Myanmar, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
The Philippine campus accepts students as young as three years old to adults.
