Moving hearts through music

MANILA, Philippines - PLDT-Smart Foundation and One Meralco Foundation presented “Rise! Rebuilding from the Ruins” with maestro Ryan Cayabyab last June 11 at the Manila Cathedral-Basilica in Intramuros, Manila. Featured performers were Basil Valdez, Dulce, Jed Madela, mezzo-soprano Clarissa Ocampo, tenor Ervin Lumauag, seven Philippine-based choirs, Voices of Aloha from the University of Hawaii with the special participation of Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle. The concert is for the benefit of Caritas Manila’s Damayan sa Haiyan rehabilitation program. In photo are Caritas Manila executive director Fr.
