MANILA, Philippines - Joel Trinidad essays the role of the Caveman in Defending the Caveman, which will be shown starting June 13 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza. Cathy Azanza-Dy directs.
Defending the Caveman is a hilariously insightful play about the ways men and women relate. It mines the common themes in relationships that go straight through the funny bone and into the heart. Couples will roar with laughter and nudge each other as they recognize themselves being described in the play.
Comedian Rob Becker wrote the play over a three-year period. During that time, he gathered insights from psychology, sociology, and prehistory, and seamlessly blended this knowledge with his stand-up comedy expertise. Becker fills Defending the Caveman with hilarious observations on the ever-evolving battle of the sexes, making the show perfect entertainment for a couple’s night out.
Defending the Caveman is presented by Upstart Productions and Theater Mogul.
