MANILA, Philippines - The renowned French photographer Ferrante Ferranti will be conducting a talk on “Photographier le Patrimoine: Conference du photographe français Ferrante Ferranti†(Pagkuha ng Larawan ng Pamana: Isang Panayam) on June 9 at the ONDEO Auditorium of Alliance Française de Manille, Makati from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
In this talk, Ferranti will discuss his approach on photographing heritage, particularly Baroque architecture and antiquity, his fascination with the mystery of light and capturing metaphors. He will also share his experiences of 30 years as a travelling photographer including in Latin America, India, and Europe. The event is free admission and open to the public, but registration/confirmation of attendance is requested.
The endeavor is organized by the Embassy of France to the Philippines, Alliance Française de Manille, the National Museum, Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotions Board, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines.
