Jaime Zobel’s tunnel of joy

The latest mural of photographer and artist Jaime Zobel in the Greenbelt tunnel — comprised of photos and installations  of traditional Filipino Christmas lanterns or parol — carries an inspiring message of thanksgiving and greater giving. He says, “The magic and miracle of a million colored lights warm and glow in our hearts as we dream of Christmas. As we celebrate the treasures of this yuletide we thank you and wish you more beautiful memories  that inspire greater giving throughout your life.”

Jacinto and Gelladula at Galerie Anna

Galerie Anna presents two simultaneous solo shows — “Tender Hollow Surface” by JC Jacinto and “Pas de Deux” by Proceso Gelladula — slated from Dec. 21 to Jan. 1, 2014 at Galeria Anna, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.
“Tender Hollow Surface” is Jacinto’s investigation on the degradation of the human body brought by the ravages of time, age and disease, with dire consequences for man’s overweening esteem of beauty.
