Alliance Française holds international photo contest

MANILA, Philippines - Alliance Française de Manille, together with the Foundation Alliance Française in Paris, in partnership with Photo magazine, launched the fourth edition of its international photo contest.

Participants are encouraged to take photos illustrating this year’s theme, “We Play On Earth.”

The aim is to present games in all their social and cultural dimensions: board games, gambling, video games, game of open air, children’s games, sports competitions, etc. This photo coverage is also an opportunity to discover the evolution of recreational practices worldwide.

The winner will be invited to Paris for a week (travel and accommodation expenses to be shouldered by the Foundation Alliance Française) and his works will be featured in a solo exhibit in a Parisian gallery.
