Bernardo-Montelibano’s ‘Barringtonia’ at Avellana Art Gallery

Suzette Bernardo-Montelibano approaches photography with the eyes of her heart and the intelligence of a master craftsman. In “Barringtonia,” the artist shines as a naturalist, respecting flora in its best state –– basking in its natural light and the admiration of those who pass by. What seems mundane and of no consequence, she finds another angle  –– we see a flower but she sees movement, effervescence, boldness. “Barringtonia” runs until Nov. 15 at Avellana Art Gallery, located at 2680 F.B. Harrison St., Pasay City. For information, call 833-3357 or e-mail avellana_gallery@yahoo.com.
